Savage Garden - Savage Garden Music Review by YoungstownRenegade 4.90
From start to finish this debut album by the Austrailian duo is well worth the listen to feed your soft side....Everyone has one weather you admit it or not...and Savage Garden's debut album is tops on the list of albums to feed your soft side....The singer Darren Hayes has a magnificent voice which is also proven in the fact that he has sang opera with Pavoratti...the instrumentalist Daniel Jones is a master at these types of instruments and the album has everything from To the Moon and Back which is a masterpice in this genre of music to I Want You which you need to admit, you've heard and you like....Universe is a good song to fuck to, but the undisputed king of the album is the love song, Truly Madly Deeply.....This song is the ultimate love song and is #1 on my list of songs to make love to....Ever try it?....I have....and the song just takes over the moment and the two of you no longer exist, it is literaly this song....You become the song...Greatest Love Song of all time...hands down......
1. To The Moon And Back (5) 2. I Want You (5) 3. Truly Madly Deeply (5) 4. Tears Of Pearls (5) 5. Universe (5) 6. Carry On Dancing (5) 7. Violet (4) 8. Break Me Shake Me (5) 9. A Thousand Words (5) 10. Promises (5) 11. Santa Monica (5)
Thoughts and comments welcome.....

I am sure Boy George and George Michael would take exception to that.

Probably not so much anymore....this album cover is from 1997...I was just starting High School....I'm looming on my 10 year anniversary now...

One of the underrated ones to me was "6. Carry On Dancing"

That one and Universe....I would also consider To The Moon And Back underrated...it didn't get as much props because of 1. Truly Madly Deeply and 2. The radio edit had that bad ass 2 min. instrumental at the end cut up and out.....Truly Madly Deeply is undoubtedly the best on the album but To The Moon And Back was bad ass too....
